Does your knowledge impede your healing?

As the access to information expands & the collective (us) consumes in mass quantities, please do not mistake intellect & understanding for ACTUAL HEALING.

I see it all the time & have been guilty of it too… how else could I know 🤷🏻‍♀️

I’ll give you an example, let’s say you have a relational wound to mother, you can go digest hours of incredible & valuable content that will give you pause & aha’s & rock your world, concepts that weren’t taught but should have been. And with all that understanding you actually start to feel better.

But that’s a trick.
Understanding is wildly important & does help you feel better right now, but in reflection, it is incomplete in regards to the wounding & necessary rupture repair & release that is healing.

So you read all about how hurt people hurt people, & how what happened to you created reactions, patterns, stuck or stored emotion & energy. You can see it clearly & have keen awareness to the pervasiveness the damage caused. It feels a bit more complete as the pressure of not understanding lifts some, so you move on to the next thing only to be throttled when the topic rears up again in your life. Unhealed.

Learning about what happened & how it changes us as humans is like observing it through binoculars. You…
