Imposter syndrome
Imposter syndrome sounds like, ”Who am I to do this?”
”How can I help someone when this happened to me?”
”My life was a mess, so how can I offer anything?”
”Who’s going to listen to what I have to say?”
”I’m not good enough to do that?” And my first question back is ”Whose voice does that belief belong to?” We only have to be one step ahead on the path to help someone along.
Imposter syndrome is a fancy way of saying I’m not good enough. But you are, you always have been.
Your experiential lens is exactly what the rest of us need.
A client said the other day, ”I’m new to this and feel like everything I want to do has been done.”
I said, ”Maybe it has all been done, but it hasn’t been done yet by you!” which means it’s never been done before!
Find your edge and push it wide open!
I’m here for it, and you!
You’re on the right path.
